Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

(Voluntary Statement for SIM Consulting Ltd)

Last updated: 8 December 2025

SIM Consulting Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all our business activities and supply chains. Although we do not meet the statutory threshold under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily publish this statement to demonstrate our commitment to ethical practice, responsible sourcing, and transparency.

Our Business

SIM Consulting Ltd is a UK-based consultancy specialising in digital advisory and strategic transformation services. Our operations are small in scale, and our supply chain is primarily made up of professionals providing specialist consulting or technical expertise.
We occasionally engage contractors based in India and the UK. These are typically highly skilled roles involving strategic, digital or analytical work.

Our Approach to Ethical Working

We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, child labour and human trafficking. We expect the same standards from all contractors, suppliers, and partners we work with.

We commit to:

  • Conducting reasonable due diligence for contractors and suppliers

  • Working only with individuals or organisations that uphold ethical labour practices

  • Ensuring all workers engaged by SIM Consulting operate freely and voluntarily

  • Maintaining open communication channels for raising concerns

  • Reviewing and updating this statement annually

Supplier & Contractor Expectations

We expect all contractors, including those based overseas, to:

  • Comply with local labour laws, international human rights standards, and fair working practices

  • Provide services voluntarily and without coercion

  • Work under safe, respectful and fair conditions

  • Not engage in, or be complicit in, modern slavery or human trafficking

Where risks exist (e.g., offshore contracting), we apply proportionate checks such as confirmation of identity, independent contracting status, fair payment terms, and verification of working conditions.

Training & Awareness

Due to our size, we do not require formal training programmes; however, we maintain internal awareness of the risks associated with modern slavery and how to recognise early warning signs, particularly in offshore environments.

Reporting Concerns

Any concerns relating to modern slavery, unethical practices or suspicious activity can be raised directly with the Director at:
info@simconsulting.co.uk

Concerns will be handled sensitively and investigated promptly.

Commitment to Ongoing Review

This statement will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant and proportionate to the scale of our business.
