We operate in compliance with all applicable UK legislation and recognised public sector best practice, including the UK Bribery Act 2010, public procurement principles, and framework-specific supplier obligations.

Code of Conduct & Business Ethics

SIM Consulting Ltd expects all directors, employees, contractors, and associates to:

  • Act honestly, professionally, and with integrity at all times

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations

Anti-Bribery & Corruption (UK Bribery Act 2010)

SIM Consulting Ltd operates a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.

We strictly prohibit:

Gifts, Hospitality & Entertainment (Public Sector)

 

SIM Consulting Ltd recognises the heightened sensitivity around gifts and hospitality in the public sector.
 

Accordingly:

  • Gifts and hospitality must be modest, proportionate, infrequent, and transparent

  • They must never be intended to influence, or be perceived as influencing, decisions

  • All client-specific policies must be complied with

  • Gifts or hospitality involving public officials are strongly restricted

 

SIM Consulting Ltd does not permit gifts or hospitality that could compromise professional judgement or public trust.

Commissions, Fees & Third-Party Relationships

 

SIM Consulting Ltd ensures that:

 

  • All commissions, referral arrangements, and third-party payments are lawful, transparent, and documented

  • Payments are proportionate to legitimate services provided

  • No payments are made to secure unfair advantage or influence procurement decisions

Appropriate due diligence is undertaken where third parties are engaged.

Conflicts of Interest

SIM Consulting Ltd maintains a proactive approach to identifying and managing conflicts of interest.

All individuals are required to:

  • Declare any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts promptly

  • Refrain from decision-making where conflicts exist

  • Comply with mitigation measures agreed with clients or contracting authorities

This approach supports CCS and G-Cloud requirements for fairness and transparency.

Confidentiality & Information Security

SIM Consulting Ltd:

  • Protects client, supplier, and personal data

Reporting Concerns & Whistleblowing
